Carmel Connects will meet after school on Jan. 10 to repair computers and continue reimaging donated computers.
In order to achieve its goal of promoting net and computer literacy, the club fixes computers donated from Carmel Clay Schools. It then gives the fixed computers to members or groups in the community.
“This year we want to work with more computers and get new members,” Levy Kiser, Carmel Connects president and junior, said.
The club meets Mondays after school and in class during IT essentials, which is sponsor Margaret Winans’ first period class on Gold Days.
“At our past meetings, we have talked about increasing net literacy and the reimaging process. We have also repaired or reimaged donated computers,” Carmel Connects sponsor Margaret Winans said. By Natalie Maier <[email protected]>
