Global Giving working to find Carmel’s Best Dance Crew

Global Giving, the club dedicated to helping kids in need around the world, is currently working on organizing the next Carmel’s Best Dance Crew competition with a tentative date set for May 20.

At the moment this is the main focus for the club. The club has already held one call out meeting but there is another planned for sometime in the next week. The competition will be set up in a similar matter to last year. The chosen crews will compete against one another, and at the end of the show guest judges will vote for the best group. Sponsor Ryan Ringenberg said, “We are still trying to really work out the logistics of the event, but auditions will be held soon. I think the group members are really looking forward to it.”

The club also will be having a small get together at a nearby park. They plan to go on an upcoming Friday. There will be pizza and games to play, but mostly this is just a fun way to hang out with the group members. The date for the get-together is not currently set. Club member Anusha Gajaria said, “I think it will be nice to get out and be with the group. We haven’t gotten to do it lately because of all the cold weather.” By Kelly Sheridan
