Best Buddies to have last chapter meeting May 5

Best Buddies will have their last chapter meeting of the school year on May 5. The members will discuss any upcoming events to occur next school year.

Each member has a ‘Buddy Pair’ special ed buddies and general ed buddies in and outside of school.

“They’re required to keep a monthly commitment of keeping weekly contact and hanging out outside of school at least twice a month as well as attending chapter events,” president and senior Alexia Ohnemus said via email.

“The officer board does most of the planning and organizing of the meetings and events. I oversee and make sure the students are following the school rules,” co-sponsor Jana Cosler said. By Audrey Courter <[email protected]>
