According to Brett Gerstein, club president and junior, Jewish Student Union (JSU) now meets every Tuesday in the main cafeteria, as opposed to every Blue Tuesday.
“Every other (meeting) will be a ‘business’ type where we plan future events, and the ones inbetween will be fun days where we do things like play board games, learn conversational hebrew, learn about israeli current events, and other things,” Gerstein said.
The business meetings are open for anybody to bring their input, according to Gerstein. She also said that sometime in February or March, JSU will be baking hamantashen, a type of pastry. Gerstein said the dates have yet to be decided.
Sponsor Shelly Rubinstein said “I generally leave decisions up to (Gerstein) as to what the club will be doing.”
