Do Something Club members to make bracelets for charity

Club sponsor James Ziegler said Do Something Club members will work with Zionsville High School students to make bracelets to sell for a charity of Zionsville students’ choice.

“Each bracelet takes about an hour, so we’re hoping each member can knock out a couple for the next meeting and would like to contribute about 20 bracelets to the Zionsville effort.”

Co-president and junior Hunter Leonard said the club members will visit the nursing homes Summer Trace and Sunrise on Old Meridian again in a few weeks. This spring, Ziegler said the Do Something Club members will hold a basketball tournament for charity. He said details for both will be uncertain until their next meeting.

According to Ziegler, the Do Something Club members raised $190.50 for Thirst Relief International in their recent bake sale.
