Greyhound Connections is currently in the process of accepting applications for new members for next year. Greyhound Connections sponsor Joe Stuelpe expects to have finalized the list of accepted members by mid-April.
The applications must be picked up in person from Stuelpe in Room E219 or Room E222 and are due by this Thursday, March 29.
The application process is highly selective with typically 80-100 students applying each year and only about 40 selected for the organization.
The four Greyhound Connections co-presidents will assist Stuelpe in reviewing the applications. They will look at the grades as well as extracurricular activities that the applicants are involved in.
“I have to pick the best group I can,” Stuelpe said. “We can hopefully find somebody amungst us that can relate to anybody that moves in.”
According to Sarah Maurer, Greyhound Connections co-president and senior, “We look for students who are involved in other activities.”
The finalized list of members will be determined by mid-April, Stuelpe said. Each potential member will receive a letter of congratulations or decline, he said.
“I think we do a real good job of getting a diverse group with a variety of interests,” said Stuelpe.

May 19th, eighteen years ago was mxerteely emotional for me, just as today has been. It’s been a long, sometimes, bumpy ride, but worth every minute. Thanks for all of the kind words. I love you guys!
