The PTO is scheduled to have its next meeting on Feb.3 at 9 a.m. in the community room. According to PTO president Kimberly Paarlberg, the PTO is in the midst of working on Valentine’s Day treats for the CHS staff, volunteering at the 8th grade Academic Transition Night, planning for Gradfest and planning for the Scholastic Banquet.
“The PTO continues to work to support CHS,” Paarlberg said via email.
Senior Willow Wespestad said she believes events that PTO has put on previously this past school year, such as the Homecoming Dance, was well done and hopes Gradfest will be just as great.
“Overall, I think that the impression (of the Homecoming Dance) was positive from the student body as well as the parents,” Wespestad said. “Gradfest is a very, very big part of what the PTO does. It’s (Gradfest) really just nice thing to finish off the year and one last time to hang out with your high school friends in the high school setting.”
