Greyhound Connections, a club helping sophomores, juniors and seniors new to CHS adjust to the school, plans to participate in the Care to Share program.
“We do plan on participating in Care to Share this year,” said Sloan Belveal, Greyhound Connections president and senior. “Because our period is so large, we will split up into 3 competing teams. The team that collects the most money is thrown a party by Mr. Stuelpe.”
According to Belveal, the club also plans on meeting with new students one final time before the end of the semester.
“We will have one last meeting with our new students before the end of the year,” she said, “just to check that they are comfortable going into first semester finals.”
Belveal also said a new student breakfast was hosted during a recent late start.
“We recently held a new student breakfast,” she said. “We just all came in during late start, made breakfast, played some games and just hung out.”
Greyhound Connections sponsor Joe Stuelpe said he defers all club responsibilities to student presidents.
