In the past few weeks, CHS has fallen behind North Central in LifeLines’ Buckle Down Program.
“We’re not really sure what happened, whether it’s because students just aren’t buckling up or something else, but we’ve gotten pretty far behind,” LifeLines Sponsor Rebekah Overbey said.
CHS still has a chance to catch up before the program ends, though. There is still time for students to pick up their Buckle Down forms and sign up.
Students who do sign up will have to wear their seatbelts, though. The Buckle Down and Nowthinknow.com commercial is also still airing on CHTV.
LifeLines is also looking towards working for Black History Month. Black History Month will also be part of events for other clubs, too. These clubs will be working with LifeLines over the course of the month.
“We’ll be working in coordination with Global Giving,” LifeLines president and senior Austin Rader said. LifeLines will be doing a variety of events for Black History Month, which spans throughout the month of February. By Shayan Ahmad <[email protected]>
