The yearbook staff has just finished their fourth deadline and are currently working to edit the pages they have done in the previous semester.
“Most of our pages are finalized right now and are in production at the plant,” Pinnacle adviser Nicole Laughrey said. “We’re waiting for proofs from the fourth deadline this week, and we’ll have a week to finalize those too.” To complete these, the yearbook staff will revise and change any incorrect information they come across, such as grammatical errors or wrong names.
“Content doesn’t really change at that point,” Laughrey said. “It’s just fine-tuning those pages that we worry about.”
For this year’s spring supplement, the yearbook staff will take the deadlines during this time that did not have the chance to get into the book, and put them into the supplement. They will also use a different printer, but in order to make that happen, they will follow a faster process to finish it.
The yearbook staff also enjoys having pitch-ins and parties throughout the year, and the next one will be right before the seniors graduate in May.
“We just finished the fourth deadline this week, so we’re celebrating by having all of the staff members come in and hang out,” Hannah Liu, Pinnacle reporter and junior, said. “In terms of the supplement, we are still looking forward to that for the next week.”
