Senior Kevin Russo wipes off the oil from his bowling ball after throwing it. Russo said, “Wiping off the ball after every time you throw it is essential to consistency when bowling. If you do not wipe the ball, there could be residual oil, which can affect how the ball reacts when it goes down the lane. I always clean my balls in order to have a consistent reaction and always get a strike.”

Men’s track team to compete at Noblesville on May 11

The men’s track team is set to attend the Noblesville Relay at Noblesville on May 11 at 5:30 p.m.

Coach Will Ellery said via e-mail that the eight team captains include Chris Walden, Tom Ohlman, Dan Porter, Max Yeary, Langston Newton, Blair Trapkus, Jimmy White and Devin Brinson.

Senior Dan Porter said he has set his own goals for the upcoming invitational. He said via e-mail, “I want to win the 4 x 1600(-meter relay) and 4 x 800(-meter relay).”

However, Porter said the team will face strong competition. He said, “Our toughest opponent is going to be Noblesville.” By Faraz Majid <[email protected]>
