With the start of basketball season for both the men and women’s teams, Wild Bunch plans to have a tailgate before one of the games, according to president and senior Tori Singleton. Singleton is planning to have the tailgate before a big rival game or on a Friday night to increase the possibility that more people will come.
According to Singleton, The club members typically have some worries that the basketball games won’t have the same amount of students there supporting their fellow peers as the football games do.
“Not a lot of people show up to the games,” Rebecca “Becca” Claassen, basketball player and freshman, said. She said she hopes more people will come out and see her team play.
Singleton said the tailgate will help to increase excitement and school spirit for the basketball games.
